VERTEX performed energy assessments for multiple buildings throughout the northeast USA for a confidential client. The facilities typically included storage, retail, residential, and office uses and included a variety of construction materials and multiple mechanical equipment types of variable ages and configurations. VERTEX broke down the building uses and calculated energy savings for building envelope improvements, HVAC changes, lighting alterations, and behavioral modifications, based on building usage and daily occupancy. Individual ASHREA Level II reports were provided for each facility with recommended energy conservation measures (ECMs) with payback terms of 5-years or less. Reports included concise and practical action plans for the next steps.
