Why LKB
LKB has an extensive library of historic aerial photographs of Long Island and New York City, dating from the 1950's through the mid-1990's.
We are capable of providing historic aerial photos: high quality photogrammetric images produced directly from the original film rolls. We offer this service to clients such as real estate attorneys, developers, historians, and anyone with an interest in this unique insight into the past!
Fun Fact: LKB was a pioneer in photogrammetry, which is the art, science and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and the environment through process of recording, measuring, and interpreting aerial and terrestrial photography.
The first of several LKB pilots was hired in 1950. Seventy-five years later, LKB can provide a unique glimpse of the past through four decades of exclusive, hi-res historic images of parts of New York.
